Characteristics

Dingoes are a type of wild dog. A dingo’s body length reaches up to 72-110 cm. Their tail length is about 21-36 cm and they weigh between 9-21.5 kg.  Male dingoes are larger than females, and the dingoes that are found in Australia are larger than the ones that are found in South East Asia.

Their coat is reddish/brown in colour and they have a lighter underside. Dingoes' ears are large and pointy and their eyes are almond shaped and browned coloured.

In Australia, Dingoes are found in mountains, deserts, and forests. Dingoes are mostly found in Australia but they are also found in Thailand, South East China, Laos, New Guinea, Phillipines, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
